After 20 years with the same logo, Music In Motion Entertainment launches a new, fresh look for 2011 and beyond. As much as the original logo had sentimental value, this new look is what will move us into the future and keep us from being complacent.
Mike Fernino, owner of Music In Motion recalls his father making the logo. “I was just a 15 year old kid and had no business sense. My dad, being a professional musician and music teacher told me we needed an identity so he put together a look fashioned from music notes and placed them on a music staff with a 1/2 half backwards image to form the M. It was a unique statement and I was so very proud of it.”
The new look will soon be replacing all old logos from new business cards to fresh paint jobs on the company vehicles. “You have to stay up with the times,” says Mike “or you get left in the dust.”

The setting was the beautiful Water’s Edge Resort and Spa in Westbrook Connecticut, Saturday May 7, 2011. Sonia & James tied the knot and as a special first dance treat, Bernard Jackson from the R&B group Surface sang their first dance. “Shower Me With Your Love” was one of the hottest wedding songs from the early 90’s. Certainly, it is a perfect first dance selection. How awesome to have this song personally sung while you dance with your new life’s partner out on the floor. Music In Motion’s very own DJ Aaron Davis served as the Master Of Ceremonies. Here’s a clip from the first dance. The video was produced by Stephen Krauchick for Music In Motion Entertainment.
