It was a beautiful August evening in Connecticut. Martin & Larissa were having their special day at the Wadsworth Mansion of Middletown. All of the details were scrutinized down to the smallest piece, the wedding reception was gorgeous. But beyond the bride, the most gorgeous was the mansion itself. A classic Connecticut landmark, the Wadsworth Mansion sits on 10 perfectly manicured acres in the countryside of Middletown. There’s not much that can add to her look.
Then again, lighting makes all the difference in the world, and Martin & Larissa wanted to give the mansion an extra special look for the reception. Music In Motion Entertainment of Seymour CT was honored with the entertainment an event production duties for this awesome event, and we were determined to make a unique and outstanding impression.
The reception was held outside under a tent area of the Wadsworth patio. All around the dance area was uplighting to wash the dance area with color. Dance floor lighting color was used to brighten the floor and lasers used to create a starry night sky look on the top of the tent. But, for the main course were 12 dedicated lights just for the face of the mansion to illuminate the entire structure. As guests walked outside for the first time from dinner they stood in amazement looking at the mansion as if it were a piece of artwork. It was!
Guests danced the night away with music from DJ Mike Fernino of Music In Motion. A fabulous time was had by all and a strong lasting impression was made for all the guests as they remarked to the bride and groom exiting the reception what a incredible night they had.
